Oxford Library
Paper, navy & a well-read shade of red.
A reading-room palette of paper-pale walls, navy joinery and oxblood bindings, with brass and green glass close to the desk.

Six colors, one atmosphere.
Screen colors are authored interpretations. Material photographs show surface character; they are not calibrated color samples.

A room for one more chapter.
Let the paper colour do the spacious work. Navy can carry the shelving, while leather and green glass stay near the reader. The smallest accent feels stronger when it has a useful place.

Sources & interpretation
The Bodleian opened in 1602 within a longer history of Oxford library buildings. This is an imagined reading room: paper-pale surfaces leave space for navy, leather bindings and small pools of green light.
The palette follows the authored material references in this collection. Room, object and material imagery were created for this study. These are imagined settings, with no affiliation to the fictional interface brands.
The controls explore screen composition, not physical pigment recipes or material measurements. Image rights · Image permissions
