Lisbon Map Room
Vellum, sea-chart blue & teak.
An imagined map room where pale paper, blue tile and dark wood turn the colours of a chart into an interior.

01 / The palette
Six colors, one atmosphere.
Screen colors are authored interpretations. Material photographs show surface character; they are not calibrated color samples.
02 / Play with the composition
Chart the balance.
Give paper the largest area. Use a darker navigator blue for the frame and a lighter sea blue within it. Teak anchors the room; tile adds a rhythm close to the floor or desk.

The illustrated atlas attributed to Fernão Vaz Dourado offers a reference for the material language of charts, parchment and colour. The maps in this imagined study are decorative compositions, not navigational documents.
The palette follows the authored material references in this collection. Room, object and material imagery were created for this study. These are imagined settings, with no affiliation to the fictional interface brands.
