01 / The palette

Six colors, one atmosphere.

Screen colors are authored interpretations. Material photographs show surface character; they are not calibrated color samples.

02 / Play with the composition

Give the night a ceiling.

Move the deepest blue overhead and keep the walls pale. Stars work best with intervals between them; a small amount of gold can make the ceiling feel intentional without filling every space.

Sources & interpretation

Sainte-Chapelle’s painted vault evokes a starry sky; its decorative scheme also reflects nineteenth-century restoration. This domestic interpretation borrows the blue-and-gold overhead rhythm without presenting itself as a historic reconstruction.

The palette follows the authored material references in this collection. Room, object and material imagery were created for this study. These are imagined settings, with no affiliation to the fictional interface brands.
