01 / The palette

Six colors, one atmosphere.

Choose a palette recipe

Screen colors are authored interpretations. Material photographs show surface character; they are not calibrated color samples.

02 / Play with the composition

Bring the glasshouse indoors.

Use a few large leaves at different heights rather than scattering many tiny accents. Pale frames separate the green masses; a terracotta pot offers a warm interruption at floor level.

Kew’s Temperate House brings plants together within a great Victorian glasshouse. These imagined domestic rooms borrow its contrast of pale framing, abundant foliage and changing daylight.

The palette follows the authored material references in this collection. Room, object and material imagery were created for this study. These are imagined settings, with no affiliation to the fictional interface brands.
