A seasonal material study / 034
Adirondack Beaver Moon
Birch, river stone & beeswax.
Pale cabin walls, surrounding wood and the quiet of a November lake become a study in bark, wool and stone.

01 / The palette
Six colors, one atmosphere.
Screen colors are authored interpretations. Material photographs show surface character; they are not calibrated color samples.
02 / Play with the composition
Let the pale walls do the work.
Let the pale ground carry the largest area. Brown felt and moss-grey cloth can then feel warm without weighing down the room. Keep the dark slate to a frame, an edge or a small object.

Sources & interpretation
Beavers prepare for winter by storing woody food underwater near their lodges. Willow, birch, river stone and the first suggestion of ice inform this imagined Adirondack cabin; Beaver Moon is used here as a contemporary seasonal title.
