Leo: The Ochre Noon
Ferrara · Wheat, gold leaf & sunlit clay.
July’s Leo at Palazzo Schifanoia becomes a study in the weight of summer light. Wheat, ochre, linen and clay move into an imagined sitting room where a golden wall meets cool, deep shadow.

The source / Art history
A month above the scene.
July at Schifanoia places Leo beneath Jupiter and Cybele; it is attributed to the Master of the Wide Eyes and workshop. Wheat, ochre and sunflower seeds are contemporary high-summer choices for this drawer, rather than an inventory of the fresco or a historical crop claim.

North up, east left. Relative visual magnitude controls dot size. Positions use J2000.0 and a local projection with a cosine correction. The connecting lines were authored for this card; constellation boundaries and the Sun’s current position are not drawn. Print on A4 or Letter in portrait orientation.
